AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY: Footprint

The incredible advance in remote sensing technology and GIS applications has allowed for the aggregation and communication of huge volumes of landscape data. But in abstracting the landscape into code, and representing it symbolically, we sometimes lose sight of the many small individual realities that make up this data.

As I travel to mapping projects, I can't help but fly low and focus my cameras on these details.
